Diablos

Tonight we went to the El Paso Diablos game. They used to be a AAA farm team for the Diamond Backs, but a few years ago, the ceased having any affiliation with Major League Baseball. Which was kind of a bummer, but they have done pretty well all things considered and it's still a lot of fun to go to the games. It was Emma's first baseball game, and let's just say, she is not the type of baby who usually enjoys "new experiences." So we were wondering if we'd be heading home after the second inning. But to our surprise, she actually seemed to really enjoy herself! She loved hearing all the loud music that they piped into the stadium and she enthusiastically danced to each song - even one rap song, which was just so funny. Liam got a free baseball and had a hot dog for dinner, which pleased him very much. He was sad that we couldn't stay for the fireworks show, but he and mom got some shaved ice to take on the road home...delicious. :)
